The European Youth League Championship Final took place between 9–12 October 2025 at the National Shooting Centre in Budapest. This international youth shooting event was far more than a multi-day competition: it was a complex project where the quality of sport presentation directly defined the standard of the broadcast production.
In this project, the Pélicom Media / interneteskozvetites.hu team was not only responsible for the live broadcast. We were also in the fortunate position of being entrusted with the entire visual and communication system—from the very first layout plans to the final frame that appeared on screen.
Sport Presentation and Broadcast – Branding Design
We designed the placement of all backgrounds and branding elements.
Why is sport presentation a key factor in broadcast-level production?
In sport shooting, this is especially true: the on-screen experience is not built on speed or action, but on details, rhythm, and a clean visual structure.
For this reason, broadcast production cannot begin when the cameras are switched on. The quality of the final image is already determined by decisions such as:
- the positioning of shooting lanes, referee points, and reporting areas,
- which background surfaces appear in camera shots,
- how federation and sponsor branding elements are presented,
- and what kind of visual order dominates the competition area.
In this context, sport presentation is not decoration—it is the foundation layer of the broadcast.

The Result of Integrated Sport Presentation and Broadcast Planning
Broadcast Planning Optimised for Sport Presentation
Throughout the project, Pélicom Media was responsible for the complete broadcast planning, working in close alignment with sport presentation:
- camera positions and viewing angles designed around on-site installations,
- background and branding layouts that remain readable in every frame,
- graphic and visual logic aligned with the SIUS scoring system,
- a structured rundown that works at an international broadcast pace.
The objective was to deliver a platform-independent broadcast feed—equally suitable for international streaming platforms, federation channels, or television broadcast.
Live Broadcast for the European Federation
On the final competition days, the bronze medal matches and finals were produced as multi-camera, broadcast-style live transmissions for the European Shooting Confederation (ESC).
Key characteristics of the production included:
- a combination of fixed and mobile cameras,
- real-time SIUS-based graphics,
- controlled visual rhythm and a calm visual language,
- stable, redundant signal transmission,
- professional commentary.
The focus was not on spectacular visual effects, but on ensuring that the sport remained clear, understandable, and tense for viewers watching remotely.

Communication and Content Production Built Around the Broadcast
Alongside sport presentation and live production, a comprehensive communication system was developed:
- we created the event’s communication strategy,
- managed social media presence before, during, and after the competition,
- filmed and produced the M4 Sport magazine feature covering the event,
- published several thousand images by our international sports photographer on our Flickr channel, providing freely usable press and team photography.
This structure ensured that the event existed not only as a live experience, but also as long-lasting, internationally usable content.
Results and International Feedback
The finals delivered an exceptionally tight field, with strong Italian, Nordic, and Central European teams. Hungarian athletes also performed successfully on home ground, while both the broadcasts and the overall visual presentation received positive international feedback.
The integration of sport presentation, broadcast production, and communication clearly contributed to the event appearing with a professional and consistent visual identity across all platforms.
Conclusion
The European Youth League Championship Final was a strong example of why sport presentation and broadcast cannot be separated.
When the competition space, visual environment, and communication strategy are aligned with broadcast logic already in the planning phase, the live production becomes not a series of compromises, but a stable, international-level broadcast.
This is the approach followed by interneteskozvetites.hu and Pélicom Media when working on sports events—both inside and beyond the camera frame.
